The Old Ratcliffan 2010 | The Old Ratcliffan association council Ratcliffe College’s Remembrance Day Service The annual Senior School Remembrance Day Service was held this year in the Chapel of the Immaculate Conception on Thursday 11th November. Fr David Tobin, Fr President, led the service. The names of all the Old Ratcliffians who died during the two World Wars, as listed on the back wall of the church, were read out by the Head Boy and the Head Girl, whilst votive candles were laid on the altar. She is Westminster, has agreed to join the Council full of ideas on how to boost membership of and has been elected Vice President to take the Ratcliffian Association. The first new event planned is a Sporting Dinner on Friday, 18th February, in the Refectory at Ratcliffe College and tickets are already on sale on the Association website. Another new event for 2011 will take place in the Autumn Term and is a Rugby Lunch at which we hope that people who enjoyed playing rugby at school will be able to come back to watch the 1st XV play and catch up with old friends. The date for the next Grand Summer Ball is 14th July 2012.
