BIRTHS
Maria Greiner (née Burns) (02): “I’m about to fi nish maternity leave after
having our daughter, Rosalie Pearl, at the start of the pandemic. She’s
brilliant; we just wish more of our family and friends had spent time with her.
Our son, Rudy Bob, has just started at a bilingual school, which he loves. My
husband and I are living just outside Amsterdam with our two children. We
both work for Nike; I look after the Sportswear business with our partners in
the Middle East, Eastern Europe, and Africa.”
Emily Eden (née Wells) (04): “What a year 2020 has been for
everyone. We will always look back with amazing memories,
though, as our beautiful second daughter, Florence Louise
Sophie Eden, came into the world on May 29th 2020. To all
the amazing front-line staff, thank you!”
Victoria Mensley (née Lancaster) (06): “Tom Mensley (03) and I welcomed
our fi rst child, Jack Charles Thomas Mensley, on 21st September at 9.16pm.
He was delivered at Leicester General Hospital and weighed 5lbs 15oz. After
years of trying for a baby, we were blessed with our miracle this year, and we
couldn’t be happier with our healthy little boy. We got married in July 2018
at Kilworth House. Tom’s sister, Louise Wilson (née Bird) (06), welcomed
her baby just three weeks prior. Louise and I are best friends from our
Ratcliffe days, being in the same year – it seems that Ratcliffi ans all stay
fairly close after leaving! We even live in Ratcliffe village and regularly visit
the old campus while out walking the footpaths. We hope to be out doing
this with baby Jack and our Labrador, Bernie, very soon.”
