         NEWS FROM THE ASSOCIATION OFFICE



         SUE  HIGGS  RETIRES  AFTER  31  YEARS                           1
         AT RATCLIFFE

         Sue Higgs has retired, having worked in Housekeeping at
         Ratcliffe since 1985! Many of you will remember her. Her mum,
         Margaret, worked here for many years as a housekeeper, and
         her son, Chris, has done a stint here, too! We wish you all the
         best, Sue.



         OUTGOING  HEAD  BOY  AND  GIRL  JOIN                  2
         ASSOCIATION COUNCIL FOR ONE YEAR


         As of 2016, the outgoing Head Boy and Girl will be invited onto
         the  Ratcliffian  Association  Council  for  one  year,  to  help  with
         engaging the younger alumni. Declan McAuley (16) and Lolade
         Mosaku (16) have been to one Council meeting so far, and it is
         great having them on board.



         PAUL CARTER (60) RETIRES AS TREASURER                 3
         OF THE RATCLIFFIAN ASSOCIATION

         Paul Carter (60) has volunteered for fifteen years to make sure
         that the Association’s accounts are kept up to date, and he has
         tirelessly attended Council meetings to report on the financial
         details. We would like to thank Paul for all his hard work. Simon
         Burns (83) will now be taking over this role.




         MICHAEL COKER (52) RETIRES AS CLERK                   4
         TO THE RATCLIFFIAN ASSOCIATION &
         CUNNINGHAM TRUST FUND

         We would like to thank Michael Coker (52) for providing over
         forty years of service as Clerk to the Ratcliffian Association and
         Cunningham Trust Fund. This shows his incredible commitment
         and love of Ratcliffe College.  Richard Armitage (71) has now
         taken over this role.


         FR ANTHONY MEREDITH (57) CELEBRATES                   5
         HIS GOLDEN JUBILEE

         We would like to congratulate Fr Anthony Meredith (57), who
         was also a Past President, on reaching his Golden Jubilee year in
         May. He has given so much time to Ratcliffe over the years - what
         a great achievement.
