THE LONDON CHRISTMAS 1
CAROL SERVICE
& DRINKS PARTY
THURSDAY 3RD DECEMBER 2015
The London Carol Service was held in the beautiful Church of Our
Lady of the Rosary in Marylebone. Ratcliffe’s Director of Music,
Edward McCall, took to the organ, and Gareth Lloyd conducted a 2
small, but select gathering of Old Ratcliffians, students and staff
in the Old Ratcliffian Choir.
The Head Boy and Head Girl from 1989, Bridget Lavin and Mike
Meredith, both gave a reading, followed by the Head Boy and
Girl at the time, Declan McAuley (16) and Lolade Mosaku (16).
Alex Beason (15) and Sally Croysdale (15) both treated the
congregation to a solo, which everyone thoroughly enjoyed.
Following the service, everyone retreated to The Larrik Inn next
door, where drinks and canapés were served, courtesy of the 1 ORs enjoying a drink at The Larrik Inn

JACKIE BENNETT RETIRES AS SECRETARY
AFTER NINE YEARS
On Wednesday 20th January, the Ratcliffian Association and Jackie responded with a
the School bade farewell to Jackie Bennett, the Association moving speech, thanking

Gareth read an email which had been sent in during that day friends. She added that
